If the brewing cycle takes significantly longer or if the Coffee Maker spits, these are signs that descaling is necessary. If the coffee tastes bitter or unpleasant, we also recommend descaling the Coffee Maker.

We have also built-in a descaling reminder on our product. Every 60th time you start the coffee maker the red light, on the front of the machine, will blink to remind you that descaling is needed. Descaling is important to keep the product performing well and lasting a long time. If it’s not a good time for you to start the descaling program, you can press the button again. The coffee maker will brew as usual and remind you again after another 60 brewing cycles.
